How likely are you to recommend Mindfully Therapy & Psychiatry - Montgomery?
“I went through Psychology Today and found someone who I thought would be a good fit and sent an inquiry. Mindfully called me and offered a different counselor who had Saturday hours available for couples counseling. We showed up for our appointment and the therapist didn’t. I called the emergency hotline and they said ‘they don’t have a counselor by that name’.. I understand mistakes happen but to have booked me with someone who supposedly doesn’t even exist? She did end up emailing a few days later and apologized for not showing up so I’ve since edited my review. We’re trying again with another counselor and see how it goes! Edited: We were scheduled with someone who doesn’t provide couples counseling so they call and rescheduled us with someone else. We were already on our way to the appointment and received a text message that it was a mistake and she doesn’t provide couples counseling. This company is absurd. The amount of mistakes made aren’t worth it. Save yourself the time and go elsewhere.”
“I had to reschedule my first appointment, Mindfully had to reschedule 2 more times and now I have to wait another whole week before my intake appointment, which had to be changed from in person to telehealth. Im really struggling and 4 weeks with no therapy has me in a very bad place mentally. Not a very good first impression. If this happens again I will have to find somewhere else to go. Mental health isn't something that should be put off.”
“Had my initial meeting today. A horrible experience. Left after just 30 minutes feeling embarrassed and humiliated. Neal Dunsieth was disinterested and unengaged. I spent 30 minutes talking about a heart wenching situation only after he asked me to embellish on it. Then he tells me he's not a therapist and only prescribes medication, that he hasn't done therapy for 15 years. Kept asking me why I was there. After telling this stranger my story in-between tears, I left feeling totally humiliated. Why did he even ask me to elaborate on my problem. Whatever you do, please make sure you've got the right person for YOU because this company certainly does NOT.”
“I love coming to Mindfully because the space is so comforting here. The biggest part of what makes it so great is my therapist, Darlene. Darlene is so great at listening, she offers great feedback and supplies me with tools and coping mechanisms to get me through my week. She asks important questions and is always empathetic to what I’m going through. I love my appointments with Darlene and I would strongly recommend her as a therapist to anyone seeking help.”
