What patients say on Google
“After 6 months I have finally found somewhere else, but none of this would have been necessary had this practice actually kept open and honest communication with their clients. I was unfortunately one of their blindsided patients where they stopped giving any meds OR advanced notice this would be happening while they had their internal review (you can see said reviews others left 6 months ago). Anyone who’s had to struggle with getting medication management should be very aware that I personally experienced here getting ghosted via email by my provider, and then my provider not even keeping their scheduled appointment due to “issues” with another patient AND not even acknowledging or reassuring my sudden panic on what I needed to do as no one informed me until I had to call in and ask what was going on. Thankfully the receptionist at the time told me that they were halting all medications due to said internal review and that my provider would tell me, but by this point I had already ran out the day before said appointment…so much for caring and compassion. I honestly loved my provider at first, but either she didn’t care enough about me as a person or the practice here required her to ghost said patients, so I wouldn’t suggest this place to my worst enemy sadly…. Started off extremely strong, but this was beyond the pale when it comes to acceptable. Mental health practices need to be VERY open with their patients, not just try and sweep whatever “internal issues” they had under the rug and tell their patients to kick rocks or find alternative means for management while they sort out their issues.”
“Dr Tyson is incredibly intelligent, caring and such a great doc. I am so lucky to have found him and I hope I never have to find another. Thank you so much for caring about me and my well being, never making me feel weird or judged, and just being a good person period. May the Lord pour out his blessings on you.”
“If you have a history of trauma or are neurodivergent, I encourage you to confirm that a provider has specific training and experience in these areas before beginning care. Over several years at this practice, I received multiple differing diagnoses from two providers. During that time, I was prescribed several medications while expressing ongoing concerns that my symptoms were not being fully understood. I did not experience sustained improvement. After years of treatment, I was referred out for further evaluation. That evaluation resulted in different diagnostic conclusions. Patients with trauma histories and neurodivergence often require comprehensive, nuanced assessment. In my experience, the type of comprehensive evaluation I later received did not occur during my time at this practice. I share this so others can make informed decisions about their care.”
“Leeside wellness has been more harmful to my mental health than helpful. I'm supposed to be in an appointment with Lori Morgan right now, but she canceled on me 20 minutes before the scheduled time because she 'had to leave for an emergency'. I could be empathetic to this if it wasn't the FOURTH TIME this has happened. Previously I was with Eric Adams who accounts for three of the previous 'emergency reschedulings', however he left the practice without notice from either him or the practice. I tried to get an appointment for three months before finally being informed of his absence as I was running out of my prescription medications. I had previously left a terrible review, but took it down when they finally agreed to refill my prescriptions before I experienced withdrawal symptoms. This left the relationship with the doctor feeling extremely transactional. I should never have let it continue and neither should've they. This one is staying up.”
